Life Groups - Frequently Asked Questions

  • Life Groups are mid-sized groups (40-60, maybe a little smaller) that foster more intentional ways to connect with God, connect with God’s people, and connect with God’s Word. Gatherings are an hour long and meet on campus at Relevant, and they include intentional time for fellowship, care and prayer, as well as Bible teaching and discussion.

  • Life Groups are for any adult seeking to deepen their faith, foster connections with fellow believers, and gain insights into applying God's word in their daily lives.

  • We recommend choosing one group only and committing to consistent involvement in that group.

  • You’re locked in for life! Just kidding. If the group you try first isn’t quite the right fit for you, be encouraged to try a different group. Just make a switch. No need to re-sign up.

  • While Celebrate Recovery is an ongoing collection of groups, DivorceCare, GriefShare, and The Good Life groups are all short-term groups. If you are in DC, GS, or TGL, we recommend focusing ONLY on that group for the duration of the group. If you are in CR regularly, you may want to focus only there or you may want to also join a Life Group. Find a rhythm that works well for you.

  • If you “sit one, serve one” on Sundays, we strongly recommend choosing a Wednesday night group in order to prioritize the people you serve on the weekends and to prevent disruption to your ministry area. If you have questions, please talk to your ministry leader.

  • On Sundays, your children fifth grade and younger will go to their regular environments and K-5th grade kids will have an alternative space (R!Club) during the other service time they are on campus. If you have young children and attend a Wednesday Life Group, childcare is available for a nominal cost.
